Why This Matters

Community development starts with stable families and supported young people.

We are building a local network that can meet families where they are—at schools, community sites, partner programs, and structured youth activities—while connecting them to resources that extend beyond any one class.

  • Reduce financial barriers to positive youth programs
  • Strengthen protective factors through mentorship and structure
  • Increase parent participation and family support
  • Promote academic engagement and healthy routines
  • Build leadership, service, and workforce-readiness skills
  • Connect families with qualified community resources when needs are outside our scope

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear scope. Strong partnerships.

Is the Foundation only a karate scholarship organization?

No. Martial arts is one effective tool within a broader youth- and community-development mission that also includes mentoring, parent education, academic support, scholarships, leadership, service, wellness education, and community partnerships.

Does the Foundation provide mental-health treatment?

The Foundation can provide non-clinical awareness, resilience, emotional-regulation education, parent/family education, resource navigation, and referrals. Clinical diagnosis or treatment should be provided by appropriately licensed professionals or partner organizations.

Can schools, agencies, and nonprofits partner with Senshi?

Yes. We welcome discussions around after-school programs, parent workshops, mentoring, academic support, youth leadership, scholarships, wellness education, and community outreach.

Can donations support a specific community program?

Where appropriate, donors and sponsors may support scholarship funds, youth programs, workshops, educational initiatives, community events, or other approved charitable activities consistent with the Foundation’s mission.
